Privacy Policy
Last updated 16 October 2026. This explains what Crestmont Wealth ("Crestmont", "we") collects when you use the website, why, who sees it and what control you have. It should be read with the Terms of Service.
What we collect
- Account details: your email, username, display name, a salted hash of your password (never the password itself), and the times you accepted our terms.
- Membership and billing: your plan and subscription status, and the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. Your card details go straight to Stripe and are never stored by us.
- What you do on the platform: your watchlist and notes, alert settings and delivery history, setups you follow, reports you generate, community posts and reports of posts, and the questions you ask the assistant.
- Messages you send us through the Contact page, including the name and email you give.
- Notifications: if you turn on browser notifications, a push subscription address from your browser. If you use the mobile app, a device token.
- Technical and security data: sign-in and security events, the address your request came from, browser type, and error logs. These help us keep the service secure and working.
Why we use it
To run your account and membership, deliver the research, alerts and reports you ask for, take payment, answer your messages, keep the platform secure and prevent abuse, and improve how it works. We send service emails (for example email confirmation, password reset, alerts you chose and billing notices). Marketing email is sent only if you opted in, and every such email has an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share what is needed with providers that help us run the service:
- Stripe for payments and billing.
- Microsoft Azure for hosting and storage (the service is hosted in a Microsoft data centre in the United States).
- Email delivery providers for service and alert emails.
- Market-data providers, which receive the symbols needed to fetch prices, not your personal details.
- An AI service, which receives the text of questions you ask the assistant, together with market facts, to write an explanation. Please do not put personal or sensitive information in assistant questions.
- TradingView widgets, used for some charts and tickers, which are loaded from TradingView and may set their own cookies under their own policy.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights, members or the platform.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work: to keep you signed in, protect forms from forgery, and remember simple choices such as a chart setting. We do not use advertising cookies. Third-party widgets can set their own.
How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is open. When you delete your account we remove your personal data, apart from records we are required or entitled to keep (for example billing records, and security logs for a limited period). Community posts you made stay on the platform without your name, and you can ask us to remove one through the Contact page.
Your choices and rights
From Your account you can update your details, download a copy of your data, manage alert and email preferences, and delete your account. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to ask us to access, correct, restrict or erase your data, or to object to some uses. Use the Contact page to make a request, and tell us if you believe we have handled your data wrongly.
Security
Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, secrets we hold for the service are encrypted, connections use HTTPS, and access to administration is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Children
The platform is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
